Preliminary Procedure

Open and support the hood.
Pinch the washer pump hose connector in order to disengage the windshield washer nozzle hose from the washer pump hose at the air inlet grille panel.
Remove the front driver side wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
Place a clean suitable drain pan under the washer container in order to contain any loss windshield washer solvent.
Disconnect the washer hose elbow from the windshield washer pump.
Disengage the washer pump hose from the windshield washer container.

Windshield Washer Pump Hose Tip: Carefully remove the washer pump hose from the engine compartment.

Preliminary Procedures Remove the front driver side wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement. Disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector.
1	Windshield Washer Pump Hose Tip: Disconnect the washer pump hose from the washer pump spout.
2	Windshield Washer Pump Procedure Place a clean suitable drain pan under the washer container in order to contain the windshield washer solvent. Using two medium sized flat-bladed tools, place the tools under the washer pump and pry upward, releasing the washer pump from the washer container filter grommet. Remove the washer pump filter grommet and discard.
3	Windshield Washer Pump Filter Grommet Tip: Install a new washer pump filter grommet upon replacement of the washer pump.
