Preliminary Procedure

Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.

Procedure

Place a clean suitable drain pan under the washer container area to retain loss windshield washer solvent.
Remove the headlamp washer jumper hose from the headlamp washer pump spout.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlamp washer pump.
Disengage the top of the washer pump from the washer solvent container by pulling the top of the pump outward.
Using two medium sized flat-bladed tools, place the flat edge under each side of the washer pump above the washer pump seal.
Using an opposite twisting motion, pry the headlamp washer pump from the washer solvent container.
Remove the headlamp washer pump.
Remove and discard the washer pump seal.
