Preliminary Procedures

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Carpet Replacement.
1 Rear End Spoiler Nut (Qty: 6)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten

6 Nm(53 lb in)
2 Rear End Spoiler Assembly

Procedures

  1. Transfer the radio control module, if equipped.
  2. Position the new spoiler to the rear compartment lid stud holes.
  3. Raise the rear compartment lid.
  4. Install and secure all nuts.

1 Rear End Spoiler Nut (Qty: 4)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
2 Rear End Spoiler Retainer (Qty: 2)
3 Rear End Spoiler Retainer (Qty: 2)
Note: Rear end spoiler retainer breaks on removal, replace as needed.
4 Rear End Spoiler

Procedure


Use a suitable plastic flat bladed tool to release the rear end spoiler retainers from the deck lid.
