Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement

1 Air Distributor Duct Screw [6x]
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten

1.5 Nm(13 2b in)
2 Air Distributor Duct

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors as necessary.
1 Air Inlet Housing Fastener (Qty: 5)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten

2.5 Nm (23 lb in)
2 Air Inlet Housing

  1. Remove Instrument panel trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement.
  2. Reposition any wiring or hoses to gain access to air duct.
1 Floor Front Air Outlet Duct Screw (Qty: 2)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution
Tighten

1.5 Nm (13 lb in)
2 Floor Front Air Outlet Duct

  2. Reposition any wiring or hoses to gain access to air duct.
1 Floor Front Air Duct Screw (Qty: 2)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten

2.0 Nm (18 lb in)
2 Floor Front Air Duct (Right Side)

  2. Reposition any wiring or hoses to gain access to air duct.
1 Instrument Panel Outer Front Air Outlet Duct Screw (Qty: 1)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.
Tighten

1.5 Nm (13 lb in)
2 Instrument Panel Outer Front Air Outlet Duct
