Parking Brake Actuator

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the parking brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement.
3. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the actuator.

4. Remove the parking brake actuator (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the parking brake actuator (1).

2. Connect the parking brake cable from the actuator.
3. Install the parking brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement.
4. Adjust the parking brake. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment.
