Warning: Refer to Eye Protection Warning. Warning: Refer to Folding Top Hydraulic Pressure Warning. Warning: Refer to Servicing Electrical Components Warning. Caution: Always put an automatic transmission in P (Park) or a manual transmission in N (Neutral) and set the park brake before raising or lowering the convertible top. If you raise or lower the convertible top while the vehicle is in motion, you could damage the top or the top mechanism. Caution: Do not lower the top in cold weather. If you lower the convertible top on the vehicle in cold weather (0°C (32°F) or lower), you may damage convertible top components. Caution: Dry off the convertible top before lowering it. Lowering the convertible top if it is damp, wet, or dirty can cause stains, mildew, and damage to the inside of the vehicle. Preliminary Procedures Place the folding top in the full closed position. If the folding top is inoperative. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and Operation. Reposition the rear seat back cushion to access electrical connector. Refer to Rear Seat Back Pad Replacement. Open rear compartment lid. Remove the rear compartment luggage shade. Refer to Luggage Shade Replacement. Remove the rear compartment front trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Replacement.
1	Folding Top Pump and Motor Line Retainer (Qty: 2)
2	Folding Top Pump and Motor to Rear Seat Back Panel Nut (Qty: 2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution. Tighten 7 Nm (62 lb in)
3	Folding Top Pump and Motor Bracket Middle Screw (Qty: 2) Tighten 5 Nm (44 lb in)
4	Folding Top Pump and Motor to Hose Screw (Qty: 3) Procedure Ensure that all hydraulic component being serviced receive new O-rings, because of high pressure. Disconnect the power to the folding top motor to prevent the folding top operating. Tape off each end of the hose to prevent leakage while replacing the motor. Tighten 7 Nm (62 lb in)
5	Folding Top Pump and Motor Electrical Connector
6	Folding Top Pump and Motor Electrical Connector Tie (Qty: 6) Note: The harness retainers will need to be pushed inward to be release the harness from the pump motor bracket.
7	Folding Top Pump and Motor to Hoses Procedure Remove the tape from the end of the hose. Connect the power to the folding top motor. Check the area around the hoses for leakage.
8	Folding Top Pump and Motor Refill Plug Procedure Ensure that the hydraulic fluid level is full. Refer to Folding Top Fluid Addition. Tighten 2 Nm (18 lb in)
