Removal Procedure
- Remove the sunroof glass. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.

- Lifting upward with a flat-bladed tool, remove the left and right clips (1) retaining the locking slide guides to the mechanism arms. Discard the clips as new clips will be used for installation.

- Remove the left and right guides from the arms by unsnapping it at the bottom rear, then pivot the front upward while pushing forward to disengage the front arm pin and slide it off the arm.

Installation Procedure
- Before installing the guide, ensure that the curved end (1) of the standing rib on the mechanism arm is seated into the slot (2) on the left and right arm levers.

- Install the new guide by positioning the guide to the front of the arm and sliding rearward. While sliding, pivot the guide upward to engage the arm pin in the guide hole (1). Once fully seated rearward, snap the bottom rear of the left and right guide in place.

- Ensure that the clip (1) is installed between the standing ribs (2) on the inboard side of the mechanism arms and that the clip's orientation is with the shorter leg facing the exterior of the vehicle.

- Install the new retainer clip by pushing the retainer clip downward onto the left and right mechanism arms and guides.

- Install the sunroof glass and verify proper operation of the sunroof. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.
Note: When the rear of the guide is snapped into place, an audible click can be heard indicating proper retention.
