Caution: Always verify that no objects are in the storage area before lowering the convertible top. Lowering the convertible top when there are objects in the storage area could damage it or break the glass rear window. Caution: The positioning of the latches and linkage rods is factory set to allow safe and proper operation of the system. The adjustment is only to be utilized by the manufacturer of the folding top number 1 bow assembly (not repairing technicians). Attempting adjustment may cause the top to not properly latch causing damage to the top or vehicle. Preliminary Procedure Remove the roof front headliner garnish molding upper for the right side . Refer to Roof Front Header Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper. Remove the roof front headliner garnish molding lower for the left side only. Refer to Roof Front Header Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower.
1	Folding Top Front Latch Striker Screws (Qty :2) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution. Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector from the left side only, right side is not equipped with connector. Tighten 13 Nm (10 lb ft)
2	Folding Top Front Latch Striker Note: If the convertible top light comes on while driving it will be necessary to adjust the ball socket on the end of the top linkage, one full turn only, refer to the number one bow procedure.

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the roof front headliner garnish molding upper for the right side . Refer to Roof Front Header Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper.
Remove the roof front headliner garnish molding lower for the left side only. Refer to Roof Front Header Garnish Molding Replacement - Lower.

Folding Top Front Latch Striker Screws (Qty :2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector from the left side only, right side is not equipped with connector.

Tighten

13 Nm (10 lb ft)

Note: If the convertible top light comes on while driving it will be necessary to adjust the ball socket on the end of the top linkage, one full turn only, refer to the number one bow procedure.
