Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor

Removal Procedure

1. Apply the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the vacuum reserve in the brake booster.

2. Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the power brake booster vacuum sensor and check valve assembly (1) from the vacuum brake booster.
4. Release the clamp and remove the power brake booster vacuum sensor and check valve assembly from the vacuum hose.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the power brake booster vacuum sensor and check valve assembly to the vacuum hose.
   If necessary, a small amount of denatured alcohol may be used as a lubricant for assembly. Do not use soap.

2. Position the clamp to the vacuum hose.
3. Install the vacuum sensor and check valve assembly (1) to the vacuum brake booster.
4. Connect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.
